
There are only 3 baby goats this year. Last year there were probably 10 or more. It's still somewhat early in the baby goat season, so maybe we'll see more. There are still 2 mommy goats in the pen, waiting to give birth.
The goats are in town to clear brush from the hillsides, which cuts down the fire danger. The goats have been in town for about 10 years now.
The goat herder is from Peru and he loves his goats. The goat herder lives in a trailer and when the goats are relocated to various parts of the city, his trailer abode is moved to the new location. Oh...BTW...the goat herder's dog is named Ghandi.
